Please review prior to submitting an adoption application:
Lifetime Commitment: A decision to adopt a dog means you have made a
decision to care for that pet for its entire life. Please think through this
extremely important decision before you apply to adopt. A pet becomes a
family member. A responsible pet owner/guardian makes life decisions to
include their pets. Our goal is permanent placement.
● Adopters must be at least 21 years of age.
● We adopt puppies to all sorts of families and there is transportation
(additional fee) if needed/wanted.
● All dogs must reside with you in your living space and not be left
unattended outside or in non-residential buildings.
● You must agree to spay or neuter each puppy you adopt into your
family from us (exceptions may apply).
● All cats and dogs currently in your care must be current with rabies
vaccine and dogs must be on heartworm preventative treatment
(exceptions may apply).
● If you are renting your home or are in a condo association, we will ask
you to verify that there are no restrictions on breed or number of
animals in your lease agreement.
● All puppies are the sole custody of Mountain Bernedoodle. until a
finalized adoption contract is signed.
● If at any time after an adoption you are unable to keep the puppy for
any reason, the dog MUST be returned to Mountain Bernedoodle.
● Misrepresentations on an application will automatically disqualify you
from adoption.
● Once an adoption is approved, Mountain Bernedoodle. will work with
you, to the best of our ability, with your pick up date.
